Common Roots 30-Hour Immersion

with Lila Rasa Brown, Carson Efird and Julee Snyder

Saturdays 2-5:30pm & Sundays 12:30-4pm

at Evolve Movement in Raleigh

Join Evolve's senior teachers, Carson, Julee, and Lila, for a 30-hour Tantric Yoga Immersion this fall! Created for the student who wishes to dive deeper into the many facets of yoga practice, this immersion will celebrate both the unity and the diversity of the physical practices of Prana Vinyasa (Carson), Restorative & Embodi Yoga (Julee), and Rasa Yoga (Lila), which are all rooted in life-affirming Tantric philosophy. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the history of yoga that stems from our common root of Krishnamacharya, then gains embodied freedom through the artful melange of our physical practices. Practitioners will expand their knowledge of traditional texts including the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Sutras from multiple perspectives. Yoga is a living, breathing, system that adapts to meet the needs of its practitioners in the changing world in which they are a significant part. By honoring the source texts and philosophies that unite us all, this immersion will offer a full spectrum approach to practices that inspire one's own individual expression. Participants will receive three views on how these sacred texts have inspired new ways of embodying ancient practices. We are excited to spread our wings into the different branches of our practices while honoring our common roots!
